We are so excited for you to get your signs that we try our very best to ship all of the Sassy orders that are placed by noon (central time) the same day! We absolutely guarantee that your order will go out within 24-48 business hours (Monday-Friday)!
 
You will receive a confirmation email once your order is placed and another confirmation email once your order has shipped. You can check the status of your order by logging into your account.

Check your junk mail! If you still don’t have it, you can log into your account at any time to check the status of your order.

How many signs do I need for my Garage or Yard Sale?

We get this a lot and the answer is really easy…..first, you’ve gone thru all the work of getting your sale ready, now you want people to get there!  Make it EASY to get to your sale!

We recommend at least 4 signs, but ideally 6 or MORE is the number to be at.   Remember to sign ALL entries into your neighborhood; if there is more than one way to get in or out-sign BOTH ways, you’ll get more traffic!  Also, keep in mind the closest busy intersections-it’s a GREAT place to advertise.  Here are a few placement suggestions. 

One in FRONT of your home or place of sale

One at the end of your street (remember to sign BOTH ways into your neighborhood)

Two or more placed at the cross streets closest to your home/sale

Two or MORE at the closest and BUSIEST intersection(s), remember, if it is a confusing route to your location, use more signs, and keep them relatively close together.  No one wants to drive 10 blocks without seeing another sign….they will give up! 

When should I put my signs out?

This depends on the area that you live in.  We put our signs out the night before-when there is NOT a lot of traffic.  Some people prefer to put their signs out in the morning-that’s fine too.  Just allow yourself enough time and make sure that your safe walking across the busy intersections.  It’s easiest with 2 people, a driver and the signer  J ….one person jumps out to put up the sign and the driver comes back to pick you up!  Works great!!  (same for picking up signs!)  Make sure you follow your city ordinances about signs-we’ve found that if you have your signs out for just a few days, it’s not a problem.  But make sure you take them down after your sale!

When should I take my signs down?

As soon as your sale is done!  We keep our signs up until the last day. A lot of people ask if the signs will get stolen-because they are so cuteJ  This hasn’t really been an issue for most of the country-most people respect the fact that your having a sale and will leave your signs alone! 

How and where to advertise?

Of course your best advertising is going to be with your Sassy Signs.  Wherever you choose to advertise, add the phrase ‘Follow the (pink or green-whatever color you have) Sassy Signs with the pinwheel to our sale!!’ 

Craigslist - It’s free and very effective!
                 Make sure you add the following details: location, dates, times and specific items you’ll have.  Ex:    antiques, kids clothes-girls size 4-6x, adult name brand shoes, skis, athletic equipment, hockey net, boys bike ect.

Newspapers also work, look for your cities regional papers and websites that you can advertise on.  

Generally speaking-your signs will be the MOST effective advertising for you.  In our research, we found that people had more traffic by putting up more signs and advertising for FREE on craigslist vs. spending more on advertising with one sign and your address. 

What should I write on my sign?

All Sassy Signs can be personalized with a Permanent marker.  Some people use a Dry-erase marker to put the dates and times-as they can re-use the sign for a later date.  This works, however-make sure it’s not going to rain!   We recommend using a permanent marker and just keeping it simple.  In our experience, people look at 2 things while driving by a sign, #1: the arrow and #2: the color.  People will follow the arrow and consistency of your signs by color.  You’re making it easy for them to get to your event by having Sassy Signs!!  Include the dates/times of your sale using a permanent marker or one of our Sassy Letters and Numbers sticker packs.  Ex:  Fri 8-5, Sat 8-3  OR Fri. & Sat.   

*Sassy Tip:  Keep it Simple, they will follow the arrows-so, you don’t need a lot of details!
